Taste of Atlanta, the award-winning food, craft beer, wine and spirits festival showcasing the local restaurant scene, will return for three days this weekend! Now in its 18th year, the festival will return to Historic Fourth Ward Park, adjacent to the Atlanta BeltLine, this Friday, October 18th through Sunday, October 20th.
More than 100 restaurants will offer two or three tastes from their menus, which are purchased with Taste Points. Enjoy professional chef presentations, hands-on cooking classes, the best bartender competition, and even a kids’ cooking competition. Taste of Atlanta caters to everyone who appreciates good food and is an excellent event for singles or couples, to bring friends, take a date or entertain the entire family.
On opening night, join Atlanta's best locally-owned chef-driven restaurants like Taste of Atlanta weekend kicks off by celebrating and showcasing the Atlanta restaurant scene and Georgia's sustainable food community. Hosted by Nick Leahy, Chef-owner of AIX and Tin Tin, the evening will be dedicated to supporting the Georgia Grown program and all the good work they do to promote the state's agricultural resources to support local farmers and makers.
A portion of the proceeds from Friday night will go to the Georgia Grown Restaurant Partnership Program. Georgia Grown Restaurant Partnership Program brings awareness among both restaurateurs and consumers about the availability of quality, local products on Georgia's restaurant scene.
Food lovers of all ages are invited to celebrate the dynamic energy and variety of the local restaurant scene while savoring what makes Atlanta the food capital of the South.
